mo.unit - Commissioning

The inputs and outputs of the mo.unit should be fully connected before connecting it to the battery.
Once the battery is connected, all the LEDs on the mo.unit will flash for approximately 3 seconds.
The mo.unit is now ready for use.

To switch on the mo.unit apply +12V to the LOCK input, all LEDs should now light up one after the other.

To configure the mo.unit you need to enter the Setup menu. See the article linked below "mo.unit - Navigation in the Setup Menu".

Problems:
Output always has voltage

Due to the semiconductor technology used, voltage is always present at the outputs. The outputs are current switched, this can NOT be checked with a volt-meter.
To check an output of the mo.unit a consumer with at least 2 watts must be connected here.

mo.unit does not switch on

  • Connect BAT to +12V and GND to ground / minus
  • Apply +12V to input LOCK

The mo.unit should now switch on the IGNITION output.

mo.unit blue cannot be paired
Please refer to the article "mo.unit blue - cannot be paired".

Light does not come on
When the ignition is activated, the light does not come on with the standard setting. Only when the engine is started does the low beam light come on.
This can be changed using the mo.ride app on the mo.unit blue or via the setup menu.
