mo.unit - difference from basic to blue
The mo.unit basic and mo.unit blue do not differ structurally.
Likewise the basic functions of the devices are identical except that the mo.unit blue has Bluetooth functionalities.
Functionalities
mo.unit basic:
- Switch outputs (ignition, horn, brake, low and high beam)
- Time-controlled flasher switch-off
- Flasher unit (normal or like mo.wave)
- Alarm system
- Overvoltage warning by the horn
- Pushbutton and switch control
- Single-wire rear light
- Hazard Breaking
- Position light
- Parking light
- 2 further freely assignable outputs
mo.unit blue:
This has Bluetooth functionalities which can be operated with the mo.ride app.
Beside the basic functions of the mo.unit basic there are more functions available:
- Route controlled automatic turn signal deactivation (requires speedometer sensor at AUX2 input)
The following functions require a compatible smartphone with the current mo.ride app:
- Notifications for service intervals
- Record tour log data (Smartphone must be connected during the trip and have an internet connection)
- Ping the motorcycle via the mo.ride app to see the position
- See last parking position in the mo.ride app
- Switch on outputs via the mo.ride app
- Firmware update via mo.ride App
- Configuration via the mo.ride app
- Keyless-Go
The functionality of the mo.unit blue can be tested with the mo.ride app before purchase. Just install the mo.ride app and test it with the preset demo bike.
An update from mo.unit basic to mo.unit blue is also possible. The device must be sent to us and the costs are 120€ + shipping. Please contact the motogadget support team for this.
