motoscope pro - Air temperature sensor

This article is only relevant for all motoscope pro with Breakout Box B.

The motoscope pro requires a different sensor than the motoscope classic.

For the motoscope pro the sensor with the article number 1005090 is required. The sensor can be found in our store under the tab “Accessories” of the motoscope pro.

Connection of the sensor:
The air temperature sensor is sent with a coaxial cable. This coaxial cable has an inner conductor and a braided shield.
- Strip inner & outer conductor.
- Inner conductor at AIR TEMP. input of Breakout Box B.
- Connect outer conductor / braided shield to ground.
The inner and outer conductors must not touch each other.

Issues:

If the temperature sensor shows nothing or a wrong temperature, please try the following:
- Check if the Breakout Box B is recognized. To do this, navigate to the menu item Software Breakout Box in the motoscope pro settings.
If BOB 0.00 is displayed, the motoscope pro does not recognize the Breakout Box.
- AIR TEMP activated on the screen. Check if the temperature display in the settings of the motoscope pro is activated and set to "AIR".
- Disconnect the sensor from the motoscope and measure the resistance between the inner conductor and the braided shield. The sensor should have a resistance of about 1118 Ohm at 22 degrees Celsius.
- Connect and check all connections. Especially, the ground connection is often insufficiently connected.

If the error could not be found, please contact the motogadget support team.
