motoscope pro - Oil pressure sensor

This article is only relevant for the motoscope pro with Breakout Box B.

The oil pressure sensor outputs a value, therefore it cannot be used with indicator lights like motosign mini, combiframe or motoscope tiny series. An oil pressure switch is required for the pilot lamp.

The thread of the oil pressure sensor is a M10x1. Please check if it fits to the thread of the motorcycle before buying. The oil pressure sensor can be found on the product pages of the motoscope classic and the motoscope pro under the tab “Accessories” or under the following article number: 9001020.

In the settings of the motoscope the sensor input for the oil pressure must be activated as described in the respective operating instructions.

Usually, motorcycles are already equipped with an oil pressure switch. The oil pressure socket needs some space and may be difficult to connect to the oil circuit. Typically, this sensor is required for older vehicles, new motorcycles often do not need such a sensor.
