motoscope classic - Air temperature sensor

This article is only relevant for motoscope classic.

The motoscope classic requires a different air temperature sensor than the motoscope pro.

For the motoscope classics the sensor with the article number 9001001 is required. This sensor can be found in our store under the tab "Accessories" of the respective motoscope classic.

Connection of the sensor:
The air temperature sensor will be sent by us with a coaxial cable. This coaxial cable has an inner conductor and a braided shield.

  • Strip the inner & outer conductor
  • Connect the inner conductor to the violet cable of the motoscope classic
  • Connect outer conductor to ground

The inner and outer conductor / braided shield must not touch each other.

Fault finding:
If the temperature sensor shows nothing or a wrong temperature, please try the following:

  • Check if the temperature display is activated in the motoscope settings and set to "AIR".
  • Disconnect sensor from motoscope and measure the resistance between the inner conductor and the braided shield. The sensor should have a resistance of about 1118 Ohm at 22 degrees Celsius.
  • Connect and check all connections. Air temperature sensor must be connected to the violet cable.

If the error could not be found please contact the motogadget support team.
