mo.lock does not respond

  1. Check the fuse of the mo.lock
  2. measure the voltage between the red and black wires, this should be 12V.
  3. The battery voltage should not drop too much when starting the engine NOT UNDER 7V.
    1. The capacity of the battery must be sufficient and all connections should be checked.
  4. Hold the red Master-Key to the mo.lock and check if the LED on the back of the mo.lock lights up
    1. The mo.lock should switch the output on and off briefly. This signals the teach-in process, here you can hold a Blue-User key to the mo.lock for a test. To finish the learning process, the red master key has to be brought closer to the mo.lock again.

Master-Key no longer works:
If the mo.lock reacts to the user-key but not to the Master-Key, the Master-key is damaged. The mo.lock has to send to us together with the Master- & User-Key to train a new Master-Key.

mo.lock ignition stays on for only 2 seconds:
Please check here which key you used. The one with the red sticker is the Master-Key, it is only for learning new User-Keys. When the red Master-Key is held against the mo.lock, the mo.lock will switch on the ignition for 2 seconds to show that a new User-Key can be taught. Only the User-Keys switch the ignition on and off permanently.

mo.lock reacts irregularly:
The mo.lock should not be installed too close or behind metallic parts.
Check the battery, voltage must not drop too much when switching on the ignition.
